Lorenzana started his first company, a web hosting company, in 1997 as a student with two of his college professors. Upon graduating with a degree in computer science, with an emphasis in software engineering, from Brigham Young University, Lorenzana went to work for Lucent Technologies, where within 2 years, he transitioned into management and 3 years later became General Manager for Lucent’s ClientCare Solution. Lorenzana has had several IT businesses and participated in several start-up ventures in varying capacities since leaving Lucent in 2005, both on and offshore. In 2014 he joined Atlas44 LLC, a Fintech company offering secured loans in the construction industry, and after serving as their CIO for one year, he became the COO. Lorenzana has been involved in cryptocurrency markets since 2017 and has served as a consultant to various Fintech and cryptocurrency companies.
