Matthew Rutler , Brian McNamara, and Alexandra Tynion founded Cosmic Venture Partners in June of 2021 in an effort to unite private companies with product-aligned strategic and celebrity investors. Since Cosmic’s formation, the company has invested over $10 million across 20+ consumer-facing technology and CPG companies. Some of Cosmic’s syndicate investments include MasterClass, Discord, Mythical Games, Cann, Goodles, OpenAI and SpaceX. Cosmic is now finalizing a raise for the Cosmic Venture Partners Seed Fund.

They invest in companies where they can add significant and transformative value via their extensive network within the entrepreneurial ecosystem and/or the entertainment industry. These companies are brand-first, consumer facing businesses in categories including CPG, Creator Economy, Consumer Technology, and interactive media/Entertainment.
Their network provides access to highly competitive deal flow and gives their portfolio companies meaningful and unique growth opportunities that add significant long-term value.
Cosmic Seed Fund - Highlights:
- They have invested roughly $1.5 million in 14 seed stage startups since April '23 via the new fund.
- They have assembled a group of 20+ incredibly valuable and strategic LPs (most of whom are exited founders and entrepreneurs from their target sectors including, Consumer Tech, Media / Entertainment, and CPG).
- They have begun offering LPs unique syndicate opportunities in late stage startups including OpenAI and SpaceX with several more in the pipeline.
