Their goal is to solve one of psychiatry's most persistent gaps: patients live with their illness every day, while clinicians often see only episodic snapshots.
They have designed a platform where:
- Dr. Holo’s on-demand assistance helps patients break complex life challenges into manageable steps, explore practical coping strategies and feel more connected to their care team - any hour of the day or night when most needed.
- Patients receive a compassionate, doctor-branded daily "virtual house call" by text message, with no app, portal, or login required.
- AI captures daily signal on mood, sleep, stress, medication adherence, side effects, and relapse, and flags concerning language and trends.
- Trained HITL reviewers verify AI flags, re-engage silent patients, and escalate concerns to providers under approved protocols.
- Providers receive filtered summaries, trends, and reimbursement-ready documentation, while keeping full control of diagnosis, prescribing, and next steps.
Their team pairs deep clinical expertise with technology and product experience. HoloMD was founded by an award-winning psychiatrist with more than 40 years of precision-psychiatry practice. Cofounders and advisors bring backgrounds in cybersecurity and sensitive-environment systems, AI/LLM systems architecture, and behavioral-health product strategy, including building Eliza before its acquisition by Spring Health. An operating team is already in place across operations, marketing and customer success, revenue-cycle management, and HITL patient engagement. Existing family office investors have followed HoloMD's progress over time and chosen to reinvest.
With an estimated ~$1.62B initial behavioral-health opportunity, a secondary $7-$10B primary-care reimbursement opportunity (management estimates), and a revenue model built on established Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) reimbursement, they aim for disciplined, payer-aware growth. The business is already validated: in about 24 months, HoloMD has reached seven customers, 33 live clinical sites, and more than 1,100 active patients, and has collected payer cash. RTM revenue grew 4.3 times from the first to the second quarter of 2026, and a paid 180-day pilot with Banyan Treatment Centers recorded 91.7% eligible-patient enrollment and 83% six-month retention.
